Biography

Keith Daniel lived from 1946 to 2021 and served as a South African evangelist with the African Evangelistic Band. His ministry was associated with Cape Town and with travel beyond South Africa. This identification distinguishes him from other people who share his name.[1] [2]

The biographical account published with his recordings relates his Christian conversion to a change already taking place in his family. His brother had become a Christian, and his parents later followed. Daniel's own recorded personal testimony offers a way to hear how he described that formation.[1] [2]

He became particularly known for memorising and quoting substantial passages of Scripture in his preaching. Alongside travelling ministry, he lectured at Glenvar Bible College in Cape Town. His work also included repeated preaching visits to North America.[1]

Daniel's legacy is preserved principally through teaching and recorded messages. Those recordings are useful sources for the actual wording of his appeals to prayer and Christian commitment. They allow a reader to distinguish what he said from shortened or altered quotations circulated under his name.[1] [2]

His history is a completed life account, ending in 2021, and should not be described as the current ministry of a living evangelist.[1] [2]
