Our commitments

Credits & Image Rights

The work we create. The sources we preserve.

Original ministry work

Spirit Broods creates and commissions editorial material, artwork, portrait presentations, graphics and designs for its ministry library. Original protected work owned by Spirit Broods remains ministry material. A credit to Spirit Broods applies to that original contribution, not automatically to every historical source it incorporates.

Historical photographs and restored portraits

A restored or redesigned portrait may incorporate an earlier photograph. Where known, its photographer, archive, publication and rights information belong in the associated source record. Restoration does not transfer ownership of an underlying photograph or remove a required licence credit. Public-domain source material remains public domain; technical restoration alone does not necessarily create a new copyright.

Permission and reuse

Please request written permission before reproducing Spirit Broods-owned protected artwork, designs or substantial original editorial material, unless an applicable legal exception or an explicit licence permits your use. Include the page URL, the exact asset, your intended use and whether it is commercial. Permission cannot grant rights belonging to another rights holder.

Credits and corrections

Source notes and the Witness Record provide the available provenance for individual materials. A missing credit is not a declaration that an image is owned by Spirit Broods or free to reuse. If a credit or rights statement needs correction, send the page URL and supporting evidence to spiritbroods@gmail.com. We will review the record and amend or withdraw material where warranted.
