The Witness Record
Biographies, quotations and related writings retain their existing Witness Record source disclosures and editorial review safeguards. A historical life is presented for learning and reflection; inclusion is not an endorsement of every statement, action or doctrinal position of the person.
Quotations and adaptations
Quoted words should be traceable to a sermon, recording, book, letter or other authentic source. A summary, modernized wording, translation or editorial adaptation must be identified as such. Editorial paraphrases must never be presented as a verbatim statement by a historical figure.
Evidence and uncertainty
Prefer primary sources and identify the edition, passage or recording when available. Preserve meaningful distinctions between a verified source, an attributed statement and an unresolved claim. Do not invent page numbers, quotations, citations or historical details to complete a record.
Bible text
The locally available Bible is the World English Bible, identified as WEB beside its passages. Study notes and reflections are editorial contributions and should be read alongside Scripture in context. Other translations retain their own rights and attribution requirements.
Corrections
Use the private feedback form or email spiritbroods@gmail.com with the relevant URL, the disputed wording and supporting evidence. Editorial review may result in a correction, clarification, reclassification or withdrawal. Source disclosures should remain available when records are revised.
