THE HOLY SPIRIT: MY BEST FRIEND

The greatest miracle is when God changes a life. More than healing, more than wonders, this is the miracle of grace. I had nothing to give Him but love, and that was all He asked of me. Love opened the way to surrender. You cannot explain God. You cannot explain the Holy Spirit. You cannot explain a miracle. You accept. Faith receives what reason cannot grasp. The Holy Spirit is my best friend. Without Him I would not dare to stand before the people. Without Him I am nothing. My life and ministry are nothing apart from His presence. God is not a respecter of persons, and what He has done for others, He will do for you. His power is for all who believe. I do not claim to understand it, but I know that I know that I know. Assurance rests deeper than intellect. I cannot heal. I never healed one person in my life. Only the Holy Spirit can heal. All the glory belongs to Him. The Holy Spirit never draws attention to Himself. He always points men and women to Jesus. Christ alone is exalted. The most thrilling thing in the world is to be used of God. There is no greater joy than to be His vessel. THE POWER AND THE PRESENCE OF THE HOLY SPIRIT Faith in the Great God I am not a woman with great faith. I am a woman with a little faith in the Great God. All the glory belongs to Him and to Him alone. If you believe that I, as an individual, have any power to heal, you are utterly mistaken. I have no healing power whatsoever. The power is His, the glory is His, and this glory He will never share with any human being. God's healing power is an indisputable fact. It is not limited by time, nor is it bound by man's theologies, ideologies, or preconceived ideas. He is omnipotent, omnipresent, and omniscient. His power to heal remains the same because Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever. The Simplicity of Faith and Common Sense God gave us intelligence. He gave us a will. He expects us to use common sense. A little knowledge combined with an overabundance of zeal can be harmful if it is not grounded in the wisdom of the Spirit. I think no one has ever wanted truth more avidly than I, nor sought it harder, but the truth is revealed not by striving in the flesh but by trusting in the Spirit of God. When we pray, we come before the throne of the Father in the Name of Jesus. We pray expecting, and when we wait upon Him, the answer will surely come. The Holy Spirit, the Power of the Trinity The Holy Spirit is the only member of the Trinity who is present on the earth today, working in conjunction with the Father and the Son. It was His power that raised Jesus from the dead. The Holy Spirit is the power of the Trinity, the power that makes the presence of Jesus real in every believer's life. The Holy Spirit speaks through men and women yielded to Him. Sometimes it is with heavenly music. Sometimes with signs and wonders. Always He glorifies Christ and never Himself. The Healing Ministry of God I understood one night why there was no need for a healing line. It was not my hand nor my voice that healed the people, it was His presence. That was the beginning of the healing ministry which God entrusted to me, though the power remained His alone. I know what He has done for me, and I have seen what He has done for countless others. I had to die a thousand deaths before I came to this place of surrender, but the moment you surrender is the moment God can use you. There is no limit to what God can do with a life wholly yielded to Him. Self must be emptied before God can fill. You cannot be filled with self and filled with the Holy Spirit at the same time. It costs everything to be His. But when self is crucified, the Holy Spirit takes possession, and miracles flow not from human strength but from faith in the living God. I believe in miracles because I believe in God. If you will only believe, all things are possible.
