Revelation 5:5

🔥 John wept in the vision because no one in heaven or on earth was worthy to open the scroll. No man had the power. No elder could break the seal. Creation stood silent before the weight of what was closed. Then one of the elders spoke with authority. Do not weep. The Lion of the tribe of Judah has prevailed. When John looked, he did not see weakness. He did not see defeat. He saw the conquering Lion who had already triumphed through the cross and the resurrection. The Lamb had been slain, but the Lion had prevailed. Heaven's confidence rested not in human strength but in the victory of Christ. This is the assurance of every man and woman who bends the knee in prayer. Prayer is not weakness. Prayer is the posture that draws strength from the Lion who roars over His people. When you pray, you are not standing alone. The authority of the Lion of Judah surrounds you. Every whisper of intercession is amplified by the voice of the One who has already conquered. Elijah bowed low on Carmel and fire answered. Daniel knelt in Babylon and lions kept silent. The early Church gathered in one accord and the place shook with power. In every generation, prayer has been the meeting place of men on their knees and the God who roars from Zion. Do not underestimate the power of the altar. Every kneeling man is backed by a roaring Lion. Fire still falls. Victory still comes. The Lion of Judah still roars.
